Volunteer Application Process

Guidelines / Process:
Volunteering at the EHTP can be a most rewarding experience. If you’re looking for a fulfilling way to capitalize on your time while donating some time to an organization, the community it serves and its youth, the EHTP is the place for you. It is really very simple to become a tutor. No previous tutoring experience is necessary. Our volunteers need not have a background in education. Call the Volunteer Management Department to schedule an orientation.

The EHTP follows a clearance process for all staff and tutors that includes filing a State Central Registrar form, being fingerprinted and providing the agency with documentation of a current TB test. The EHTP processes all forms and fingerprints that are taken onsite. The EHTP refers staff and tutors to agencies that offer the TB test for free.
