University Program (for Middle School & High School)

East Harlem Tutorial Program-University Program (EHTP-UP) is a dynamic college readiness program that incorporates all aspects of college preparation and admissions – including high school credit accumulation tracking, enrichment courses, Regents and SAT test preparation, college application assistance, financial aid, and counseling.

Building on the success of last year’s model, we have expanded the program once again to encompass our middle school participants.  Middle school continues to be a critical transition point for young people in school: they no longer have the comfort of a single class, they have to manage a schedule, and they are usually in a larger environment.  This new EHTP-UP program provides middle school students with a parallel high school readiness program that ensures they graduate on time, academically and socially prepared, and admitted to a good high school.
